I think it’s about time I stopped thinking about doing this and actually got on and wrote it up. Support Stacie are having an auction of homemade items this Christmas for people to buy. It will give an opportunity to buy either an item for yourself or for a friend that will be unique – no more pairs of sock!

The dates for the auction are:

*Saturday     14th November *–     Deadline to submit registration forms; email to     supportstacie@gmail.com.

*Saturday     14th November* –     Deadline to ship items (and email photos)  to Support Stacie (Outside the U.S.A.: Please ship with enough time for us to receive package by 25 Nov.). Email photos prior to shipment.

*Saturday     28th November*    12:00pm Noon – Auction opens

*Sunday     29th November*     12:00pm Noon – Auction ends

My mother is putting two of her handmade leather handbags in the auction (pictures and information to follow) to help raise money for Stacie. I hope there will be many great items of all types to raise the funds she desperately needs, so get out there and get promoting!

If you don’t know Stacie is a lovely American lady battling with cancer as well as her medical bills. These auctions help to pay for her treatment and getting her on the mend. You can find out more about her here.

I wasn’t nervous till a couple of days ago when a lovely friend asked me if I was! Now I’m really hoping I don’t mess up. If anyone’s interested the thread to bid on me can be found here.
