"What the hell were you thinking!" fumed Ashton pulling experimentally on his manacles.
"I told you I could get men to notice a woman in this damn sexist world. And I did," grumbled Ariella beside him.
"Yeah. By dancing around the king. Naked. In court. In front of the nobles. Great plan!"
"I still won the bet," she pouted, voice wobbling dangerously. "I didn't know they'd hang us up in a dungeon, water up to our knees."
"Naked!" he chirped. "We don't know the rule of this world yet sis, we have to be more careful. I can't lose you!"
